Ignasi Dalmases is a multilingual actor. While being a native speaker of both Spanish and Catalan, he has also performed in English and French.
He was born in Barcelona and finally decided to follow his passion for acting in 2012.
He commenced his studies at the Laura Jou studio. His professional debut came later
when he had the leading role in the micro theatre piece, “Toc, toc” by Ivan Morales
under the direction of Carmel Poch. His first steps in front of the camera became a reality
in the TV series, “La Riera” (2014). During his formation as an actor, Ignasi has been influenced by people such as Javier Galito-Cava and Fernando Piernas just to name a few, who have turned him into the actor he is.
Up until March 2015, Ignasi was still employed as a lawyer. Since then he has dedicated himself to the Art of Acting, a learning experience both personally and professionally that never ends.
During this time he has also worked as a public speaker and teacher.
Ignasi is the author of the public speaking conference, “Nos lo pasamos bien?” where he has incorporated role plays as part of the educational process.
He has also written a theatre script, “En Jaque”, which premiered in Madrid(2018) in Microteatro.
Film and Theatre have always been a passion of Ignasi’s. He is a Julia Cameron, “Way of the Artist” enthusiast. Ignasi’s curiosity has led him to travel to some of the most remote places on the planet. He is currently competing in half marathons, who knows when he will compete in a full one?
